2022 Howick FRAMA 5600 Steel Framing Machine

This 2022 Howick FRAMA 5600 is a dedicated frame and truss production machine built for load-bearing frame manufacturing, featuring Howick's proprietary end-bearing stud detail. The machine handles material from 0.95mm to 1.55mm (20–16 gauge) and can roll coil up to 1.6mm, giving it greater loading capacity than lighter-duty models in the FRAMA lineup.

With 9 forming stages and a compact footprint (11.2' x 2.5' x 4.6'), the FRAMA 5600 is suited to frame manufacturers looking to scale production without a large facility investment. The machine ships with 9 standard tools — including truss end, service hole, web hole, bolt hole, lip notch, web notch, lip roller, dimple, swage, and end-bearing cut-off — and has space for 2 additional custom tools, with the option to add pre-punch and post-punch stations for custom requirements.

Components are fully processed and self-clip together (dimpled, notched, fastener-ready), eliminating the need for jigs, clamping, or drilling on the assembly side. The unit is computer-controlled via a Windows 10 touch-screen panel PC running FRAMA Machine Control, accepting CSV input files, and includes dual-head inkjet component marking.
