2017 Biesse Akron 1440 A Edge Bander

The Biesse Akron 1440 A is a high-performance single-sided edgebanding machine designed for efficient application of edging in rolls or strips. Built for flexibility and precision, this machine supports a wide range of materials and panel sizes while maintaining consistent edge quality.

With edgebanding thickness capacity from 0.4 mm to 12 mm and panel heights up to 60 mm, the Akron 1440 A is well suited for cabinet production, furniture manufacturing, and panel processing environments. Feed speeds up to 18 m/min allow for increased productivity while maintaining finish quality.

The 1440 A configuration includes pre-milling, gluing, trimming, and corner rounding capabilities, with optional scraping and finishing units. Advanced features such as servo-controlled axes with high positioning accuracy and compatibility with EVA and PUR glues provide flexibility across different production requirements.
