2016 FRAMECAD F450iT Steel Framing Machine

The FRAMECAD F450iT is a fully automated cold-formed steel frame and truss manufacturing system built for high-volume residential and light commercial construction. Capable of producing wall frames, roof trusses, and floor joists in a single integrated platform, the F450iT is the heavier-gauge sibling to the F325iT — handling material up to 16 gauge (1.6mm) and web widths up to 6", making it well suited for larger structural applications.

The system features 11 auto-gauging roll forming stations and 12 precision hydraulic punching stations, covering the full range of standard framing components without manual changeover. Standard tooling includes service holes, web bolt holes, dimples, web notches, chamfers, lip cuts, flange holes (left and right), swage, and shear — with optional flange cut tooling available.

Maximum line speed is 9,950 ft/hr, with typical output of approximately 985 ft/hr for joists and 2,300 ft/hr for wall framing. The machine runs on FRAMECAD Factory 2 control software and supports FRAMECAD Structure and Detailer design packages, with full BIM integration through Revit and Tekla.

The 21.5" touchscreen interface includes Mobile, Wi-Fi, and LAN connectivity for cloud-based production monitoring and remote diagnostics. A hot-climate hydraulic cooling system supports operation in high-temperature or large-scale production environments. The powered decoiler handles coil stock up to 6,600 lbs.
