2022 Holz-Her Lumina 1380 Edgebander

This 2022 HOLZ-HER Lumina 1380 is a high-precision edgebander built for invisible-joint edging on panel and cabinet components. The machine comes standard with HOLZ-HER's Glu Jet system, using thin-film adhesive technology to bond edging material deep into the panel structure for a high-strength, waterproof, and visually seamless joint — backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty on the complete Glu Jet system.

The Lumina 1380 features fully automatic machining unit set-up via NC servo-axes, allowing changeovers at the touch of a button without opening the hood. Operation is handled through a 21.5" rotating and pivoting touchscreen control (PPC 322W) with fa.s.t. function (set-up in the gap), graphic tool correction, and ECO mode for intelligent energy management. The unit is also LTready, supporting an optional LTRONIC laser-edging change-over unit with NIR technology for silent, heat-free, invisible joints on co-extruded laser edging.

Additional standard features include a motor-driven roller bridge, a heavy-duty welded machine column for long-term torsional stability, a 150 mm strip magazine, patented AirStream joining technology, a 3-roller pneumatic/motor-driven pressure unit, dual-motor end trimming, Multifunction MOT6 milling (8 mm + multi-profile), dual-motor MOT4 corner rounding with pendulum sensor and proportional valve technology, application-controlled flat scraping with foil compensation, and a 5° pivot buffing unit.
